About us

21 years is the only reference that matters.

Aidans Technology and Services c.c., trading as TSA Online. Registered 1 March 2005, still Durban-based, still answering the phone.

The story

Started with one domain and a decision.

On 23 November 2004, Scherei Peters decided on the business model and registered the first domain. Aidans Technology and Services c.c. followed on 1 March 2005, under CK No. 2005/027456/23.

Twenty-one years later the business does what it always did — register domains, run servers, build websites and answer the phone — for a client list that includes some of the very first businesses we signed up. In an industry where providers appear and vanish inside a year, that is the number that matters.

We are deliberately small, and deliberately local. Two offices in Durban, three people whose names and mobile numbers are on this website, and servers we own outright rather than rent from someone else.

How we work

Three things we won't do.

Hand you off

Domain, hosting, site, connectivity and branding all sit with us. You will never get an email explaining that your problem belongs to somebody else.

Hold your domain hostage

Your domain is registered in your name. If you ever decide to leave, we help you transfer it out rather than making it difficult.

Sell you the bigger package

If the R99 package covers what you need, we will tell you so. We would rather keep a client for fifteen years than oversell one for one.

Who we look after

The businesses on our servers

Twenty-one years produces a particular kind of client list: businesses where downtime costs money and a sloppy website costs credibility.

01

Logistics & shipping

Depot-to-depot mail that stays up, and sites that make a fleet look like a fleet.

02

Guarding & armed response

Fast, credible sites for firms whose entire product is being trusted.

03

Attorneys

Discreet practice sites and firm-wide email that behaves under audit.

04

Property agencies

Listing-ready sites and branding built to move stock, not win awards.

05

Doctors & dentists

Clean practice sites, booking links and forms that respect patient data.

06

Engineers

Civil, architectural, electrical, electronic and fibre — portfolios that win tenders.

07

Training & education

Course pages, enrolment forms and bulk mail that reaches the inbox.

08

Financial institutions

Hardened hosting and identity work for businesses that get inspected.

The people

Three names, three numbers.

No ticket queue, no offshore call centre. You'll deal with one of these three, and they'll know who you are.

Director

Scherei Peters

Founded TSA Online in 2005 and Vertex Computer Technology in 1998. Sets the standard, and still picks up.

Manager

Maxene Pillay

Runs accounts, projects and the WhatsApp line. If you want something moving today, start here.

Technical

Aidan Peters

Holds the keys to the servers. DNS, migrations, mail records and the things that go wrong at 22:00.

Sister company

Vertex Computer Technology

Established in 1998, Vertex handles the hardware side — sales, repairs, networks and on-site IT support. Between the two businesses, everything from the plug in the wall to the website on the screen is covered by the same people.
